Academic Structure at St. Xavier’s Public School:

Examination Guidelines:
- Assessment Format: The academic year has two main exams – Half-Yearly and Annual – supported by class tests and assignments.
- Grading: Students are evaluated on CBSE guidelines with letter grades from A to F.
- Syllabus Coverage: Each examination covers topics taught within the given term as shared at the beginning.
- Exam Schedule: Timetable for examinations is shared well in advance for preparation.
- Attendance: Students must meet the minimum required attendance to be eligible for exams.
- Admit Cards: Admit cards issued by school are mandatory on exam days.
- Exam Protocol: Silence, discipline and no communication must be maintained during exams.

- Stationery: Every student should bring their own required stationery. Sharing is not allowed.
- Punctuality: Late entry is discouraged, and early exit before end-time is prohibited.
- Electronic Devices: Mobile phones, smartwatches, or gadgets are not permitted in exam halls.
- Security Measures: CCTV and invigilators monitor exams to ensure fairness.
- Results: Results are declared via school notice boards and official platforms.
- Rechecking: Students may request rechecking within a given timeframe.
- Discipline: Any malpractice leads to strict disciplinary actions, including result cancellation.
